When you purchase a YP membership you have access to all of the tools and training materials you will need to start a Young Peacebuilders Club

    Technical support, resources, and materials to enable partners to be successful. Tools and services to help organizations leverage their existing structure, relationships, and programs to quickly mobilize young people as peacebuilders.

  • Why ?

    YPC Membership Tools & Support enable you to invest in your staff and the youth you work with, providing you with everything your team needs to get started with creating a Youth Peacebuilding Club. Training materials for monitoring, evaluation and reporting. It is all included in our YP partnerships package. Our research shows that YPCs help to transform young participants so that they see the world differently and more frequently take action to build peace and reduce violence. We also facilitate relationships between YPCs to improve cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

Is my organization qualified?

If you are an organization, before you purchase one or more of our Membership Tools and Support packages you need to refer to the requirements below. If you are a Donor we have a rigorous and effective process to match you with a qualified organization who are ready to begin waging peace.

  • Commit to safely equip young people as effective prosocial change agents through student-led peacebuilding projects.

  • Maintain appropriate legal registration or partner with a registered organization providing oversight and accountability.

  • Provide the resources needed for effective implementation.

  • If you don't yet meet the requirements above, there are some options including; recruiting another organization to serve as the YPC Membership Lead, and have your group help with implementation. We recommend that you work towards achieving the basic requirements using our free resources.

Young Peacebuilders Clubs (YPCs) are child and youth clubs organized by a group of committed young people in their schools, faith-based communities, or other groups. They engage in social activities and initiatives, involving their peers to build peace and transform conflict in their communities.
